The process of creating a website
If you want to have a website built for for you the process is easy.
The process initially involves one main question:
What is the purpose of the site?
Once we identify the purpose the process follows three steps:
1- Obtaining a domain name: The best names are easy to remember and type. One or two words combinations are the best. It is not a good idea to choose words with more then one way of spelling them. It is also a good idea not to use hyphens or numbers.
2- Development: Involves taking the purpose for the site and figuring out the content you want on the site.
Then gathering or creating all the identifying aspects of your business (mission statements, logos, trademarks, taglines, slogans), combine that with the content and put it all together with a clear navigational system.
3- Marketing: What good is a site that doesn't show up in search engine results! That is where the art of marketing and SEO (search engine optimization) comes into play. See SEO Tuning
